Falcon Shopfitters was established in 1987 and became experts at rolling out multiples of stores, from design assistance to production and installation on a National basis. During November 1996 the comany purchased a large factory in Heriotdale, Johannesburg to accommodate the change in structure of the company. Falcon Shopfitters (SA) PTY LTD has pioneered a unique business environment in South Africa and is a leader in the upliftment of previously disadvantaged employees to become self-employed businessmen / women in their own right.

Falcon Shopfitters have an annual turnover of R50 million. And while the various contractors enjoy a high level of autonomy, Falcon Shopfitters supervise the contract from start to finish and guarantee quality and timeous delivery.

We at Falcon believe that this concept affords the client the security of dealing with a well-established company, while at the same time allowing previously disadvantaged and smaller companies an opportunity to display their skills at a level normally out of their reach.

Ian, the founder member of Falcon Shopfitters, hails from Northern Scotland and has a wealth of shopfitting experience.  His career began in Germany after completion of his apprenticeship and at the age of 25, Ian had a thriving business in Dusseldorf.

In 1985, Ian moved to South Africa and worked in East London for a while before moving to Johannesburg and starting Falcon Shopfitters – a small business with big ideas.

Dave was born in Yorkshire and gained his experience in the bar building and shopfitting industry in the North of England.

In 1976, at the age of 27, Dave moved to South Africa and joined PG Shelvit. After seven years he decided to go on his own and following ten successful years, the business was amalgamated with Falcon Shopfitters.
